Dallas took another step in its bid to be a host city for the 2026 World Cup with an official second meeting on Friday with FIFA, soccer’s international governing body.

Monica Paul, the executive director of the Dallas Sports Commission, called the talks over Zoom “a great next step” toward the goal of solidifying the Dallas area as a host.
